All members of Impact Taekwon-Do must register annually to Impact Taekwon-Do South Africa to ensure that we enjoy recognition from the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF). This recognition includes your rank, your achievements on the tournament arena and all other ITF related achievements. The annual registration fee is R450.00 (Payable within the first three months of training, and thereafter annually). Members who are not affiliated with Impact Taekwon-Do South Africa cannot get promoted to higher ranks (belts) or partake in any competitive events. Impact Taekwon-Do South Africa is affiliated to ITF HQ Korea, thus members who wish to compete internationally or who will be testing for Black Belt need to affiliate to the ITF directly. Consult with your instructor for more information.

The instructors are specially trained to teach your child, so please refrain from interacting with your child or coaching from the side while class are in progress (Unless the instructor asks you to intervene).

We work on building positive values. No gossip, foul language or any other inappropriate behavior will be tolerated. If there is an issue you are not happy with please take it up directly with our head instructor.

Refrain from smoking on the premises at all times.

Keep noise to a minimum level, inside and outside the Dojang (training hall) when class is in session.

Any siblings or friends who are visiting class are prohibited from walking around, being loud or causing any form of distraction in the Dojang, Parents/Guardians are held responsible to keep them at bay.

Classes might be cancelled from time to time due to unforeseen circumstances. In this unfortunate event, it will be announced via WhatsApp.

All Impact Taekwon-Do promotional tests (belt tests) will be conducted by an ITF Certified International Grading Examiner, and his/her decision is final.

Students will only be able to attend a grading exam or compete in tournaments upon the instructor's invitation.

Students enter the premises of any of the dojangs at their own risk and Impact Taekwon-Do, its instructors, ITF and/or its associations cannot be held liable for any injury suffered during training.

We at Impact Taekwon-Do South Africa would like to measure the growth & development of our students by means of recording video and/or photographic material on the progress of our students at events inside and outside the Taekwon-Do Dojang IE grading exams, tournaments etc. We need your agreement to showcase this video and/or photographic material on social media platforms to promote our Dojangs and show progress of our members during class, competitions, grading tests, seminars and/or social events that we and our students engage in.
